As a marketing account manager and digital marketing copywriter, I have worked on numerous campaigns for household names. Over the years, I have turned many briefs into UX narratives that designers and marketeers can get behind, covering all aspects of the marketing process, from managing campaigns on the ground to providing digital impact through straplines and snappy copy, storyboarding and scripting ads.

UX Personas & Reports

In a world where stories have become so superficial, brands need substance to build their narratives. Turning qualitative research into identifiable consumers, I write UX personas and archetypes for tech and education start ups seeking to build their brand story. As an experienced editor, I specialise in improving reader aesthetics to better engage an audience for management and consumer reports.

Comms & PR

The key to good comms is getting the conversation right, whether on social media or face to face. One of my clients is a 6,000 acre estate which includes award winning beaches, tourist attractions and a UNESCO biosphere. From UX messaging to improve the user experience, to troubleshooting PR issues, I lead communications campaigns which bridge real world and digital spaces.

Project Management

The key challenges for any project are people and logistics. From managing sustainable agriculture programmes, music festivals and film logistics crews on the ground to remotely managing marketing teams in the digital space, I am experienced in getting stuff

done, to deadline and working to budget. I love working with people and I get a real sense of fulfilment from being part of a team and working together to drive a project over the line.



Emerging Sectors

In 2012, while researching an academic paper, a chance meeting opened the door to the emerging legal cannabis industry. It led to a nine year involvement in the sector. A business like no other, requiring pragmatism and adaptability to create messaging for different markets. As a copywriter I was building new stories for brands in this changing landscape, managing online content and working with translation teams.

Author & Editor

One of the biggest lessons I learned from writing my first book was that finishing the writing is just the start... Editing and packaging for final presentation is what gives a written piece of work its real value. My debut novel won a national literary prize and other published works include short stories and a graphic novel. I have been editor on numerous non-fiction projects including biographies and academic research papers.
